PROJECT SUMMARY

A monthly recurring podcast series for Substantial, aptly named Optimistic Design, I contributed to the strategy, concept, name, and production of this new content offering; as well as copywriting, editing, and designing each episode in the CMS. We collaborated with development to build a custom web experience, and we also made the content available wherever podcasts can be streamed.

Copywriting all brand copy, the strategy was to further expand on the business’ ethos of “Digital Optimism” and map stories back to the business strategy of being a premier product agency with specific expertise in ethical innovation.

In this business’ B2B ABM sales strategy, we tailored this content to be specifically for our customer audience for account drivers to use in their client relationships. We wanted to feature founders, practitioners, innovators, and leaders from all backgrounds and industries.

PROJECT SUMMARY

In addition to producing the content, I was also responsible for sharing Optimistic Design with the community. We shared via email with our CRM, as well as on all social channels. At the end of my four months launching the series and subsequent episodes, our web page bounce rate decreased, time on site increased, and engagement continued to climb with each episode launched. During this time, we also had two buyers reference the content during their RFP process. We went on to win these contracts for an estimated $1.3 million in revenue.
